What is Ten-4?
Ten-4 is the consumer arm of Diga-Talk+, the nation’s largest private Push-To-Talk provider. Since 1995 our company has provided custom communications solutions to fleets in need of wide area communications. We saw a need in the market for smaller fleets and everyday people to communicate effortlessly and leveraged our years of experience and carrier partnerships to bring Ten-4 to life.
Who is this service for?
This is perfect for small fleets and families that do not want to worry about dealing with a monthly bill and do not have the need for custom programming. They are also great for personal use! Take them on the family vacation to stay connected easily with all your family members.
Where is this service available?
The Ten-4 service is available everywhere in the United States where there is cellular coverage.
Is there a monthly fee?
Yes, and no. We bundled the cost of the service into the device purchase itself. The initial purchase can get you up to one year of unlimited and uninterrupted communication.
What about extending our use beyond the initial purchase?
When it gets close to your renewal date we will reach out to the email you provided on our initial order and ask if you want to renew. If you are not sure then, contact us at any point to restart service. We want to be as flexible as you need us to be!
What if some cell providers are better than others in my area?
We have you covered! Our devices use multi-carrier SIMs to make sure you are leveraging the coverage footprint that is best for you.
How about programming, it must be complicated, right?
Not at all! We ship all our radios with simple Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3 naming and 2 channels to talk on.
Do I have to buy them in packs of 2?
We certainly recommend that when you are buying your first Ten-4 devices that you buy a pair, so you have someone to talk to! After that, you can buy them one at a time to grow your personal fleet.
Is there a warranty?
We warranty all our devices for 1 year from the date of purchase.
So, I just bought my first Ten-4 devices, what am I getting?
Every box has everything you need to operate the device. The radio, battery, charger, and belt clip are all included. All you need to do is turn them on and start talking!
Do you support any kind of radio accessories?
The Ten-4 devices have a 2-pin connector on the side that provides a connection for a wide variety of PTT accessories like microphones and earpieces.
Do your devices hold any certifications?
Our devices are both FCC type accepted and tested in a lab for PTCRB acceptance. We take these steps to ensure that the devices will work as expected and advertised with the carriers.
